"The Lounge" Premieres on Frankfurt Airport Aprons in a First-of-Its-Kind Event
In a groundbreaking event, Mayk Azzato's short film "The Lounge" premiered on the aprons of Frankfurt Airport—an unprecedented venue for a film screening. Held at position B 42, where aircrafts usually park, the premiere featured a large screen and a grandstand for 120 select guests. In order to accommodate this extraordinary event, five positions were temporarily cordoned off, ensuring the smooth execution of the screening. Unlike any other film event, the screening was followed by a red carpet leading directly into the airport’s new VIP lounge.
The event drew notable attendees, including stars Ray Stevenson and Ralf Bauer, who praised the unique setting. The premiere was a testament to Azzato’s creative vision, transforming an airport aprons into a one-of-a-kind cinematic experience.
